SUPPLIER SHOWCASE 32 NOVEMBER 2018 Additive Manufacturing Additive Industries, Accelerating Industrial Additive Manufacturing Additive Industries has industrialized metal additive manufacturing for function- al parts. Its modular 3D printing system, MetalFAB1, has substantially improved reproducibility, productivity and flexibility. Additive Industries redefines the busi- ness case for series production with additive manufacturing in aerospace, automo- tive, medical technology and high-tech equipment. Additive Industries is headquartered in the Netherlands and has Process & Appli- cation Development Centers in California (USA), close to the demanding aero- space cluster south of Los Angeles; Bristol (UK, open in early 2019); and Singapore (open in 2018). Among its customers are leading companies like Airbus, BMW, GKN and the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team. P R O D U C T S / S E R V I C E S Additive Industries b.v. When capacity need increases, flexibly add more modules. Print parameter settings can be modified for specific part qualification. Lowest cost per part The MetalFAB1 automates manual steps to ensure highest productivity and the lowest total cost per printed part. The fully automated process reduces human errors and increases reproducibility. A large 420 × 420 × 400-mm build volume and four full-field, 500-W lasers ensure high productivity. Highest quality assured Solid machine design in combination with advanced laser calibration technology enables part reproducibility and industrial- quality production. Materials include titanium (Ti6Al4V), aluminium (AlSi10Mg), stainless steel (316L), Inconel (IN718), Scalmalloy and tool steel (1.2709). Customers are our partners Additive Industries offers world-class service to maximize the MetalFAB1's overall equipment efficiency. A continuous open dialogue with our customers feeds the technology roadmap for continuous improvement.
